BOWLS AND PARTY GAMES FOR A 50th BIRTHDAY.

A large party group of over 70 people came for Christina’s 50th birthday celebrations.

First they all trooped down to the back green for a game of barefoot bowls. This lasted from 2.30pm till 4 pm. Brian Donovan had organised seven of our members to come and help. Some small indoor bowls were brought out for the children.

Then it was time for indoor games, drinks and food.

Geoff Bandy manned the bar, Joe Agius came later to help clean up, and Mabel and Tony Cuce along with Peter Letos, the two Johns Thorburn and Nelson, and Peter Goodman all helped outside during the barefoot bowls game. Brian Dovovan really must be commended for instigating and organising so many outside people to come and use the club.
