WINTER OUTDOOR BOWLS

You can play Nominated Triples each Saturday and /or Wednesday during the winter months.

The games begin at 12.30 pm and can be played on either the back or front green depending on the wishes of the Greenkeeper.  This is a good chance to either keep up your skills or improve them. (There are also two coaching sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, the morning one from 11.30am -1pm and in  the afternoon from 1.30-3pm. There is a break for afternoon tea consisting of hot warming tomato or chicken soup, and after the game pies and sausage rolls to go with a drink whilst waiting for the day’s winners to be announced.

Last Saturday’s winners were Brian Salvage ‘s team, Neil Mathys and his Blackburn North boys, then Kevin Mason’s team.

There is also a lucky Lead, Second and Skip prize.
