2022 DONE AND DUSTED

Doncaster 2nd’s bravely faced up to Yarraville/ Footscray 3rd’s at Hampton Bowls Club in the Section Quarter-finals. Approximately 20 Doncaster spectators came to watch.

Sadly Doncaster lost. 91-58. The day’s highlight was Peter Demeris’s 6, on the last bowl of the day.

Now, with two Division 2 teams ( and seeing the standard of play today) it will be an interesting year for the 2022-23  season for players and selectors alike.

Once again CONGRATULATIONS to all the players in this years finals team on your promotion. They are Bill Allibon, Dinesh Balgovind, Geoff Bandy, Kay Bishop, Peter Demeris, Brian Donovan, Dianne Dubbeldam, Sandra Dyer, Ian Golding, Barry Hardman, Peter Johnson, Neil Mathys, John Morgan, Elizabeth Reid, Judy Seymour, Tony Smart and David Thomas. Emergency was Kay Golding and Manager was Bev Allibon.

Thank you also to Tim Fewster, Peter Hanson , Matt Cursio and Bernie Mullins for making sure everything ran smoothly back in our club rooms for another Section Quarter-final which was being played….Lyn Goodman.
