A DAY OF TRADITION
Those who attended had a fine time. Many had their bowls game in the morning and then joined their friends for a chat and a drink before lunch was served.
Joan Morris mentioned the old photo albums, they were found and the ladies enjoyed perusing them.
Executive Chairman, Peter Letos made a quick speech mentioning older bowlers and their ability still to play well, as well as a reference to General MacArthur who said, “Old soldiers never die they just fade away.”
Thanks Fran Broadfoot for organising this day again, I know that those who attended did enjoy themselves and appreciate the effort that you put in to keep this day going……Lyn.
