A THEMED THURSDAY NIGHT MEAL

Peter Horton invited three of our sponsors to attend a special Thursday night meal. At least 70 members with their partners and friends attended.

It is Lunar New Year and the Year of the Snake, so the colour red, lollies on the tables and many lucky prizes were the theme of the night.

Three of the Club‘s new sponsors had the opportunity to present to members at this January dinner.

The Club welcomed Doncaster MG, Able Living and Manningham Life.

Sarah Fry from Doncaster MG spoke about the history of MG through to the time when MG became a Chinese produced vehicle. Members have been invited to call into Doncaster MG for a test drive in one of their vehicles.

Josef Lim from Able Living explained what his company is all about and the many products it provides to help people who have a need for mobility assistance. Members have been offered a 10% discount on any product they purchase from Able Living.

Both Josef Lim and Sarah Fry also received certificates of appreciation on behalf of their respective companies.

Manningham Life is a bi-monthly magazine which is widely distributed throughout Doncaster and surrounding suburbs. Editor Stella Yee explained the type of stories and feature articles that they include in the magazine. Members were advised that should they miss out on receiving a copy supplies will be at our club.

During the night the raffle provided a large range of prizes, including meat trays (from Mauro Bros), bottles of wine, boxes of chocolates and Doncaster Hotel vouchers. One of the sponsors won, the birthday girl won and Geoff Allen won! He always seems to win, he is so so lucky.🤣
