AGNOVA STILL CAME

It was disappointing for  the 18 employees of AgNova that the rain fell just when they were ready to play barefoot bowls. There was a thunderstorm and it bucketed down.

Never the less they all enjoyed the meal and drinks from the bar.

AgNova is a company which supplies chemicals and pesticides for use in crop protection to farmers all over Australia. The overseas and interstate employees were attending  their National Sales Conference, and wished to use the Club for a social activity.

Eventually the rain stopped, a rainbow appeared, but outside the greens were far too wet.

Many thanks to our workers for the evening, Peter Hanson, Geoff Bandy, John Nelson, Brian Donovan, Tim Fewster, Elaine Kleinert, Pamela McLean, and Lyn Goodman.

Peter Hanson is organising another eight companies to use and enjoy our facilities between now and Xmas. This is great for fundraising. So if Peter or myself ask you to help please give it some thought…many hands make light work!
The Whitefriars school have also booked four sports sessions during November…….Lyn Goodman.
