BRIAN FORD MEMORIAL – Doncaster Bowling Club

 

 

During the lunch break in a recent (14 February) Wednesday Triples event there was an extra incentive to buy a special effort ticket when Jill Ford and her daughter Lisa Catterall (through her business as a Licensed Conveyancer) attended and donated ‘team prizes’ in memory of our late member Brian Ford.

Brian was a long term hard-working member who held many positions within the Club including

• Chairman
• Men’s Bowls President
• Greens Director

He was also Club Champion on several occasions and winning numerous Club Mens Pairs, Triples and Fours events. He was also known to enjoy a glass or two of fine red wine.
