This day was Federally funded. It was scheduled for last year but rolled over to 2021 because of Covid. It has the acronym MUSTER, which stands for Mutual Understanding Support Trust Engagement and Respect.

It caters for all ages and abilities. The Manningham Interfaith Network was represented, so were the Police and the Fire Brigade. Passers-by heard the music and came in for a look and to see what was going on.

Participants learnt the fundamentals of bowling , they made teams and then had a game of bowls ‘snakes and ladders’  all under the coaching of Paul Holtschke  and many of our members.

The winners received recycled golden trophies. Actually everyone who participated received a medal.

Music made for a happy atmosphere. Outside, the band ” Rag Doll” played and inside a young string group “little notes” was delightful…..Lyn Goodman.
