FASHION PARADE AND LUNCH

The Social Committee Ladies planned a very pleasant and profitable Friday morning. They invited U and I Fashions to come and show their range of tops and pants.

Before the parade started it was great to see many friends and older members who now do not play Pennant catching up with their news.

Three of our members were the models, Jan Winzler, Fayette Goralski and Sandra Dyer.

Because of the good quality fabric and stylish easy wear designs many items were sold. There were also tables of Xmas decorations, bags, patchwork, hand knitted toys and jewellery to be bought if you wished.
Doncaster receives 10% of sales, so together with the entry fee along with a home cooked lunch a goodly profit was made. Oh yes,it was Irene’s birthday.

Two $50 vouchers were won by Carole English and Geri Marshall.

No one was in a hurry to leave.
