FIRST WEEKEND OF FINALS.

Because of the weather forecast the 2nd’s ( division 4) played early, starting at 10-30am.

Some spectators stayed inside because of the heat

Doncaster 2. 86 points, Box Hill RSL 1. 72 points.

Tomorrow the team travels to Ashburton to play Ashburton 1. GOOD LUCK.

Sunday evening . Doncaster won the Preliminary Final !! Ashburton 64 points to Doncaster 69. Which means they are back in Division 3 next season .They will play the final against Heathmont 4 next Saturday at a venue yet to be chosen by Bowls Victoria.

The thirds (division 6) began their game at the usual time of 12-30pm, because players in the opposition team had work commitments in the morning.

Unfortunately the team lost this game, but they still have another chance playing at home next Saturday 1st March. Either against Donvale 4 or Camberwell Central 2. GOOD LUCK ALSO.

Results, Doncaster 3. 55 points, Auburn2. 114 points.

The fourth side ( division 8) were to play at Donvale. But because there is a total fire ban today and that the Donvale area is in a special fire ban zone this match has been postponed until tomorrow.

Up date. Sunday February 23rd has been declared a Total Fire Ban day also.
