KERIM SOZBIR

Kerim arrived on our doorstep last November with such happiness, joy and enthusiasm that you could not miss him. For the 10 short months that he was part of the club his personality did not change. There was always a greeting along with an open smile and boundless energy.

I asked him if I could do an article about him , he agreed, I sent a series of questions, with the intention of an interview but time ran out , and honestly his written answers were perfect. His voice came through just the way he spoke, so I have left everything as original.

Kerim was never without a smile, friendships came easily. 😀😀

Kerim told me that when he was studying in England his window overlooked a bowling green. There he could see lots of old men rolling balls. He wondered what they were doing…..now he knows!

Kerim , you certainly made the most of your year in Australia, I hope you and your family of Senem Acay, Libya and Define enjoyed our company as much as we enjoyed yours. Go well, stay safe. 🙏🏽You have been a breath of fresh air.
