MANNINGHAM GUESTS JUST MISSED A SOAKING

Brian Donovan again has been “on the job” inviting guests from surrounding businesses to dine and play bowls for a Christmas activity.

There were two functions booked for today. But it was not to be. The greens were soggy at noon so the first group stayed inside.

Thanks to Brian ” the cook” Donovan, Irene Garrett and her handmaidens, Sandra Dyer, Kay Bishop, Kay Golding and yours truely, and Geoff “the barman” Bandy.

The second group (a different business) cancelled due to the weather forecast. What a wise decision!!! Right on cue at 5pm the heavens opened. Because Peter Goodman and myself were there preparing for tomorrow’s sausage sizzle I took some photos of the downpour……Lyn.
