Manningham Inclusive Community Housing (MICH) Meets at the club
On Sunday 11 December, the Club hosted a group from MICH, (Manningham Inclusive Community Housing), which is an organisation providing social activities for young adults with a disability who live within the Manningham LGA.
This was the second occasion when the Club has hosted the Group as it continues the arrangement whereby participants along with some of the parents meet at the Club every 4-6 weeks on a Sunday afternoon to exchange information on their housing arrangements, try some barefoot bowling, play board games, enjoy pizza, and simply enjoy the opportunity to socialise.
Not surprisingly, there is a lot of friendship and camaraderie within the group and they certainly provide fun for those that assist with their activities. Thanks to Phil Rock and Ed Porad who have helped out at the meetings to date.
