MAYORAL CHALLENGE 2023.

This year the two Doncaster teams chosen by the Bowls Committee ventured across to Donvale Bowls Club. Nowadays there are only four clubs in Manningham since the Country Club has disbanded; Doncaster, Donvale, Greythorn and Templestowe.

For the first time in the history of the competition Templestowe won. They were thrilled, especially so, as they are also celebrating their 75th anniversary year.

There are only a few photos, so thanks to Beth Reid and Irene Garrett for those and to Beth for the information of the day. Several members of the Doncaster team left straight after the game for family reasons.
