MEN’S & WOMEN’S SUPER VETERANS & LIFE MEMBERS DAY – Doncaster Bowling Club

21 March 2017

This annual day is special, especially for the Super Veterans. It is when they can catch up with other team players and reminisce.

Many played a game of bowls before lunch whilst others met inside.

President Garry Beckett mentioned in his welcome speech that two men were present today who had played in the “white flag” team when the club won a Division 1 final in the 1980’s. They are Jack Evrall, and Arthur Ram.  I hope they have sprinkled gold dust for the mighty Saturday final.

It was great to see all these Life Members and Super Veterans enjoying each other’s company……Lyn

Thank you Champa Balgovind for putting my photos on.(Bob Urquhart is being made to rest till after Saturday.)
