NOW IT IS THE TEACHERS TURN TO LEARN

Yesterday the pupils learnt to bowl, today 45 of their teachers returned for part of their Christmas break-up party.

After school finished for this year, the Doncaster Gardens teachers came from 4pm till 6.30pm for drinks, nibbles, and for their turn to learn how to play.

They were ably coached by Peter Hanson, Lou Anastassiou, John Coles, John Nelson, John Thorburn and Bob Graham too.

Some of these teachers of course were at the club yesterday, and informed us of what fun the Grade 6 students had had learning to play a different sport.

There was lots of laughter both on the green and inside at the lounge area before the teachers left to go onto the Shoppingtown Hotel . They would like to return next year or even next term……..John Thorburn.
