OUR TUESDAY PENNANT PLAYERS ENJOYED LUNCH TOGETHER.

This year the Tuesday Pennant players gathered for lunch at the Doncaster Hotel. The Hotel is one of our sponsors so we were very happy to use their amenities. The drinks were flowing, the meals were delicious, plus listening to the noise around the two long tables it was obvious that everyone was enjoying themselves for over two hours. In John Thorburn’s words “ It was a top day.”

John Coles thanked everyone for coming and Lyn for organising the day. He also thanked those who played every week , plus those who helped out from time to time. John mentioned Irene Garrett and Gerda Van der Peet for helping him with selection, also Elizabeth Reid for her regular computer work.

The Manager Jai came down and was the photographer so that everyone was included.

The venue was suggested by Sandy McDonald because a group of 10+ from our Club and their partners regularly dine there on Thursday evenings.
