SINGLES CHAMPION FOR 2020

Fred Duthie is Doncaster’s new Men’s Singles Champion.

A crowd of 50 supporters and members watched as Fred and Carl Giardina battled it out with, I am told, some very tight heads.

Carl led 4 nil after 2 ends. Scores were level at 8 after 12 ends. Then Fred found some extra form….winning 11 of the next 16 ends to win 25/15.

This the second year that Carl has been runner up. But there can only winner and champ, so,

WELL DONE AND CONGRATULATIONS FRED???

Disappointingly there were not enough entries for a Women’s Single Championship.
