SUCCESSFUL WEEKEND IN FINALS GAMES.

Doncaster has three teams in the metropolitan finals.

The firsts in Division 3.

The thirds in Division 5.

Also the fourths in Division 5

In perfect conditions on our home ground all teams made it through the Saturday games.The results were:

Doncaster 1:  91 defeated Chirnside Park 63.

Doncaster 3: 106 defeated Yarra Valley 66.

Doncaster 4:70 defeated Vermont South 65.

Then playing away in wet drizzly weather  firsts and thirds won their matches again on Sunday. The fourths very disappointingly lost by just six shots.

Doncaster 1: 95 defeated Yarra Glen 54.

Doncaster 3: 72 defeated Rosanna 32

Doncaster 4: 74 lost to Ashburton 80.

Therefore both the firsts and thirds have now been promoted to a higher division next season.
