THE GREENS AND CLUBROOMS WERE WELL USED TODAY

The school children departed at 2-30pm then the Marketing Section of the Manningham Council arrived hot on their heels at 3pm, for their turn of bowls plus the adults bar time. There were 15 players, so out again went the two Johns and Peter Caldwell plus Irene Garrett.

For some reason the guests were all dressed in green. They brought their own nibbles and Kris Kringle gifts. They enjoyed their bowling and coaching, but even more so enjoyed Geoff Bandy at the bar.

A very long day for the boys especially, 10am till 6pm …..that’s a full working day.
