WINTER BOWLING GAMES HAVE BEGUN.

Here’s the opportunity to get out and about.

Winter bowls have started at last.

John Thorburn noted that ” Spirits were high as we at Doncaster came out of lockdown no.4. The bar was well patronised after the game with friends catching up on news.”

On Saturday the Open Triples Challenge is played outside.

Inside there is a game of social carpet bowls and new players are welcome. There is another social game on Tuesday.

On Wednesday afternoons, again outside on the back green more bowls.

The retired plumbers in the club will be interested in all the work going on down the south side of the club rooms. After years of overflow and odour from the men’s toilets the sewer is being fixed.

Dinesh has ordered and received a delivery of warm club  windcheaters. All sizes are available. $65 for a long sleeved one.
