A FAMILY AFFAIR

Three members of the Allibon family played together in the Second Monday Triples this month.

Bev plays Pennant both on Saturday and Tuesday’s. Bill is an emergency for Saturday’s, and this week I see he is playing on Tuesday as well. They have both played bowls for many years, Bill started bowling in 1980, first at Box Hill  and is now at Doncaster. Their son David was just  19 when he began bowling at Box Hill with his Dad. He played for five years until spending time with his young family became more important.

Now David has retired,  and hopefully his bowling days are back. He used his Mum’s bowls. The Allibon team won the first  game and lost the second. David, we hope you enjoyed yourself , please come again.
