BILLYS LOUNGE SHOPPING TOWN BAREFOOT BOWLERS – Doncaster Bowling Club

 

A beautiful evening with little wind, different to early in the day. A mixture of young men and women enjoyed an hour of barefoot bowls with this very enthusiastic group. Excitement was displayed when someone got near the jack, which took some time to achieve. Encouragement by our volunteer bowlers took a while to bear fruit. By the time the session was finished there was great improvement in the ability of the contestants. Thanks go to our volunteers comprising Brian Donovan, Bernie Mullens, Maurice Ryan, David Clifton, Eileen McCormick, Sandy McDonald, Chris Scane, Lou Anastassiou, Bob Urquhart on the green and Matt Cursio in the bar made the evening a success. Lots of laughter and chatter followed in the club rooms where the Christmas celebration of Billys Coffee Lounge continued with their presentations to members of their staff and was followed by some delicious Pizzas which ended a very successful evening.
