Charity Day

Fifty one people came for Charity Day which was played in calm pleasant weather. Over $700 was raised for the Royal Children’s Hospital.

As reigning champion Tom Reynolds started the proceedings by rolling the first bowl.

Then it was over to the playing teams who had been chosen by the “ pick a bat” method. This had been organised by Tim Fewster, Nicole Carriero and Phil Rock.

At the end of the afternoon many people stayed to partake in the BBQ which was cooked by the new members.

Opening Night is Friday 1st September and lists are filling fast.

There are also lists on the notice board for your names, as Pennant practice begins on Saturday 9th September.
