MAYORAL SHIELD RETURNS TO DONCASTER

Today we played for the Mayoral Shield against our friends from the four other bowling clubs in the Manningham municipality – Donvale, Templestowe, Greythorn and Yarra Valley Country Clubs. The good news is that the Mayoral Shield is back Doncaster after a short sojurn. Doncaster has won the Mayoral Shield on several occasion, the last was in 2019. The Mayor of Manningham, Michelle Kleinert presented the Shield to the Doncaster team consisting of Sandra Dyer, Nicole Carriero, Matt Cursio, Peter Demeris, Peter Hanson, Irene Garrett, Tim Fewster and Trevor Dawson. Another pleasant Sunday afternoon at Doncaster Bowling Club.
