OH HAPPY DAY ! – Doncaster Bowling Club

Happy days are here again with two out three Doncaster teams winning their Saturday Pennant sectional semi-finals and thereby gaining promotion in the Bowls Victoria competition.

Doncaster 1 won against Richmond Union 2 (see photos below), Doncaster 4 won against Alphington 2, and Doncaster 6 lost against Glen Waverley 5. 

All the Doncaster teams played away so it was a great effort. Well done Doncaster 1 and 4, they rise to a higher division next season, ie: Division 2 and Division 5 respectively. So next season DBC will have teams in Divisions 2,3,4,5 & 7.

Congratulations to Doncaster 6 for gaining a finals game. A great achievement.

Now for tomorrow, back on the greens at Alphington and Rosanna for the respective Sectional Finals for Sides 1 and 4……..  Lyn and Dinesh.
