POSTIES FASHION PARADE

Again this year 30 Lady members and their friends enjoyed a glass of bubbly for the spring showing of Posties clothes.

This time many ladies opened their purse strings choosing new clothes which means that the club received more money than ever, because Posties gives 10% of takings back to the club. As well, Posties donates a $100 gift voucher for a door prize which was won by Ros Harberts. Overall the profit from the day was over $300.

After the Ladies had ordered their new clothes it was time for lunch. Doncaster is known for providing delicious food and this day was no exception. There were homemade pastries, sandwiches and cakes.

Several days later the shopping bags with the clothes were ready for collection.

Fran Broadfoot would like to remind the club members…ladies and men, that the boxes in which to place donations for the Xmas hampers are in the club rooms now.

The Social Committee has another organised social event which will be the Cup Eve Dinner on Monday 6th November.
