SECONDARY SENIOR BOWLS STATE FINALS 2023.

Peter Hanson and Eugene Pring have again been coaching a group from Doncaster Secondary College, and two weeks ago they made it though to the State Finals for the second year in a row.

Yesterday the Round Robin competition was played at the Sunbury Bowling Club and wow what a venue that is…one to be so envious of.

There were 16 other teams from both city and country schools competing, such as Rutherglen High School, Camperdown College, McKinnon College and Vermont Secondary College.

The Doncaster team had games against Cobden Technical School, Kyabram P12 College and Maribyrnong College. Sadly they won one and lost two and so never played in the afternoon finals.

While the boys played well , they had some stiff opposition, several of  the country students have obvious talent.
