THE DELAYED CHRISTMAS FUNCTION

The early December Christmas function had to be suddenly cancelled, so instead, the Social Committee decided to invite members to a Friday 23rd evening where they asked everyone who came, to contribute to a more modern “grazing table” of Christmas fare.

Beth Reid said 67 arrived for the evening and they obviously had a happy happy time.

Father Christmas made an appearance along with his two elves.

The nine hampers were drawn with several of the happy winners in attendance.

1st: Lorraine Holstock.

2nd: Kay Golding.

3rd: Tony Cuce.

4th: Max Zalakos.

5th: Mabel Cuce.

6th: Daryl McKenzie.

7th: Henry Goralski.

8th: Anna Pouki.

9th: Butch.

There was also a leg of ham to win, Pauline Donovan was the worthy winner.
