THE GARDENERS ARE HARD AT WORK

Our gardens are having a real face lift, the weeds and older shrubs are gone! Brian Donovan, Geoff Bandy, Beth Reid, Tak Shum and Tony Maruzzi were there early on this frosty morning working hard and keeping warm.

There was time for a quick cuppa before another  tip truck load of mulch arrived to spread around. Then it was back to work.

Brian has been carefully nurturing his Flanders Poppy seedlings at home .They have been now planted out and will again make a bright display. He has also bought Nandina, Roses and  several other colourful plants.

It has taken many hours to get the surrounding gardens back into shape after being locked out last winter and most of spring due to Covid rules.

Tuesday 13th. Brian was back again to prune the roses.

Thanks to these volunteers.
