THE WEATHER TAXED US

Thursday November 22nd. The persistent rain eventually beat the Taxation Department Mixed Fours annual game last night.

But the night was enjoyed by those who played the several ends, and especially by those who won the ‘Ned Kelly bushranger ‘ glasses. It is not often you win something from the Tax Man.

Our visitors joined us for the Wednesday night meals first, whilst keeping an eye on the north west sky.

Right on cue as we started to play it began to spit, then drizzle, then turned into persistent rain. So after four ends we returned to the club house for drinks, supper and conversation.
